Join the October "See Us, Support Us" Campaign to Support Incarcerated Children and Their Parents

 

 

 

The month of October is the See Us, Support Us, a month-long, national campaign to increase supports for children with incarcerated parents by The New York Initiative for Children of Incarcerated Parents. During October, you can support children and families separated by incarceration by learning more and sharing what you learn.

 

First, See Us, Support Us by taking the pledge and connecting with their social media pages. Then, throughout the month, take the steps below to see and support children of incarcerated parents and join the conversations on social media:

 

The toolkit has amazing resources including ways to take action, videos supporting incarcerated parents and their children, and books to read.
